She's A Maniac!

Post by Cholma »

"Just a steel town girl on a Saturday night;
Going out for the time of her life;
In the real-time world, no one sees her at all;
They all think she's crazy...."

Thanks Joey! Tuesday it was "Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves" running thru my head and now this! ;)

"She's a maniac, maniac, on the floor;
And she's dancing like she's never danced before..."

That Mindy; she so cra-zee! And Joey... well you're just evil! :evil:
(but nowhere near as evil as Jackie's pig!)

OK, I probably screwed up the lyrics, but the REAL question is: Why do I know any of them anyway?? :oops:

Cholma
(Yes, yes, "Maniac" isn't the song Mindy's dancing to, but that's the song that popped in my head when I saw the last panel.)

I think we all know embarrassing stuff like that; but can we remember important stuff, like what day of the week it is? Of course not!

All alone
I have cried
silent tears
full of pride
in a world
made of steel
made of stone

See? Now there's pathetic.

:wink:

Man, I may never get those tunes out of my head now...
Need a bar song... quickly!

::: thinking thinking :::

"A Scotsman clad in kilt left the bar one evening fair;
And one could tell by how he walked that he drunk more than his share;
He fumbled 'round until he could no longer keep his feet;
The he stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street.

Ring-ding diddle diddle di-dy doh,
Ring-di diddle di day,
He stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street."

About that time two young and lovely girls just happened by;
And one said to the other, with a twinkle in her eye;
'See yon sleeping Scotsman, so strong and handsome built;
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt.'

Ring-ding diddle diddle di-dy doh,
Ring-di diddle di day,
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt."

Anyone familiar with that song? I can post the rest if anyone's interested.

What is that? It reminds me of Flogging Molly (an Irish folk/rock band)

They crept up on the Scotsman, quiet as could be.
Lifted up the kilt about an inch so they could see.
And there for them to view beneath the Scottish Skirt
Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth!

Ring-ding diddle diddle di-dy doh,
Ring-di diddle di day,
Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth!

They marveled for a moment, then one said "We must be gone"
"But let's leave a present for our friend before we move along"
As a gift they left a blue silk ribbon tied into a bow
Upon the bonnie star the Scot's kilt did lift and show!

Ring-ding diddle diddle di-dy doh,
Ring-di diddle di day,
Upon the bonnie star the Scot's kilt did lift and show!

The Scotsman woke to nature's call, and stumbled towards a tree.
And when he lifts his kilt he gawked at what he see.
And in a startled voice he says, to what's before his eyes,
"Lad I don't know where ya been, but I see ya won first prize!"

Ring-ding diddle diddle di-dy doh,
Ring-di diddle di day,
"Lad I don't know where ya been, but I see ya won first prize!"
