And then Kevin woke up! It was all just a horrible dream!Razi Oak wrote:"AND A NUCLEAR BOMB GOES OFF AND EVERYONE DIES! the end."
Know what I mean?
Hey, I'm in, with only one problem: I won't be here from July 10 till late in August. My computer won't be accesible (by me) in that period, so my part of a job's gotta be done before or after that, or both.

Hmmm title... what a silly little thing to bog us down. The title needs to actually reflect on the comic itself while still referring to the conglomorate as a whole. Goofy titles aside, unless the comic is intended to be solely funny (which would make the round-robin approach pointless) we need a solid title that says what we are.
Something like: "The Neverending Story" or "A Beautfiul Mind" only without the copyright infringments.
Christian's Suggestion List:
Brainchild - Well, duh
Comic Writer X - Gives the impression of an unknown cartoonist 8)
Blood, Sweat and Peers - Really bad, I know
Chain Letter Comics - Well, we would pass it on... sort of

There's a point; are we really breaking new ground here? Or are we taking an easier path and just choosing an existing setting. I'm turning to animes now:
"Real Life" school/college/life (Love Hina/Love Hina Again, to an extent)
Fantasy (Slayers and all the other Slayers TRY, etc)
Sci-fi (Outlaw Star, Cowbow Bebob)
Pueso-real life Mechas (Evangelion, Zoids, etc, etc, ETC, most overdone~)
I can't choose out of those though. And those are just canned, pre-made settings/genres.
The idea of the first artist setting it up should be the one in charge of this collaboration. I'm leaning towards someone doing all the heavy lifting for the setup. Going back and forth like this in the forums is getting us somewhere slowly.

I agree, again. I'm not some kind of yes-man. I just feel the same.
We need someone to belch out the idea. My thoughts are with the lovely somebody who started this whole thread. However, I am willing to do it too. Granted I am willing to do just about anything (ie, college student with no job waiting for next sememster).

Well, that'll be cool if all the generes(<spl?) are all mushed up together!
\(^^)/
That'll be pretty hard tho, won't it...
And the plot should be original... But before u guys pick Generes (<How do u spell that...?) u should think about if everyone could draw Sci-Fi, or Fantasy, or Buildings, or what not...

genre/genres normal and plural
The characters will have to be VERY different from eachother, a common problem on here is everyone draws their characters very similarly(moi aussi) and this can lead to comprehension problems from your audience... maybe we should take polls on what is in and out for genres/story/etc

Oh, and 24, thanks Genres... Gotcha! (^^)d
And the characters should have their own unique... self? and how they look, and their personalities so ppls don't get confused

Now we're getting somewhere, so if we're going to choose a genre, add them now. Here's 3:
"Real Life" (school/job)
Sci-fi
Fantasy
Comics should be in B&W, color is optional and not required.
burstera, if your gonna admin this, get more Internet time and get more involved~
EDIT: File formats should be GIF for B&W, using Levels in Photoshop to get rid of specks and make the GIF compression the best it can be. Color should be JPG. However, you could always try either and see which compresses the best.
If your unable to use Photoshop, then once this gets started you could email it to me and I'll do it myself, then send it back.
