I've asked about this before, but have gotten no reply.. Of course my timing was bad in that I asked just before one of the really bad crashes, so that lack of a reply is understandable. o.o

Anyway! This isn't important at all, and I'm just curious.

Does anyone know how to get a web counter for my page that pulls off the Keenserver for hit information? I've tried several small counters and they grow to be wildly inaccurate after only a few days. Sure it looks more impressive, but I'd rather an accurate count.

Keenspace themselves would need to create such a beast, as there is no way to query an account for hits and then display it on the page. I've seen some comics use Bravenet's counter:

The innacuracy is probably because it's counting your visits as well as visitors (I don't remember how many times I loaded my page a day when I was new, but it was quite a few). I'm not familiar with potentially configuring the counter to ignore visists from certian IPs (such as you, the author).
