Unique Content on Archive Pages

Post by Desiderata »

Hey, all,

I'm planning on having unique content on the archived pages for my comics strip, Desiderata. If I understand correctly, I can alter the HTML files in public_html/d, but won't any changes I make be wiped out whenever I update the dailytemplate.html file? Is there any way around this, where the files can still be updated but also contain unique content?

The specific application I have in mind is a unique block of text with each strip on its archive page; the text would include relevant links and annotations.

If anybody has any ideas or further info, it would be greatly appreciated.

Modify nothing. All you have to do is upload a text (*.txt) file with the same name/date as the comic it goes with into /workspace/comics/. Since it becomes part of the page, feel free to include any HTML code you want to add.
