I'm going away for a week.......

....and I was wondering if you guys would like to see some old stuff.Here's the deal: I don't have strips written for the bridge I had in mind in JF, to run while Joey and I are in New York the first week of June. I just can't think of anything after the Caryn story arc winds up on Friday.Now, I can whip up some goofy filler strips, or I can run all 13 strips of my first series, Wax Rhapsodic. Wax is the horror strip I dumped in favour of JF.If I ran WR, you'd get two WR strips every day, Sunday thru Saturday, the first full week of June. I'd also run some sketches and other stuff from the WR days (about 1994). You'd get full annotations, of course. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/wink.gif">I've been trying to figure out how to post this stuff, just to give you an idea of where I was 8 years ago, and let you see the One That Got Away.If you would rather JF keep its regular updates, I'll do it, but it would be a rush job (three- or single-panel strips involving some random throw-away gags). Why not both? Seriously - if posting WR wouldn't add any major additional work on your part, why not draw the JF throwaways *and* give us WR to boot?

Okay...sorry Aleoi, but I'll go with WR next week. Just for a week, I promise! Then we'll get on with Shannon & Melissa!And Josh, it's not that terrifying, unless you're referring to the art. The new WR stuff I've been fiddling with is much scarier than this old stuff.Well, I suppose you'll see. Keep in mind that the strips running next week are just a sliver; if I get the time, I'll throw a link on the JF page so you can check out a scene from a more recent script. But I'll have to do that when I get back from NY.....along with everything else I have to get done...------------------
