I have partly isolated the problem, please DO NOT change your user information at this time, you will make it worse. In fact, at this time, make sure you know your password, because that will be the ONLY way you will be able to fix corrupted information if your account information has been damaged. Do not use the new password URL if your account information is screwed up or you will also lose your ability to change your info.

Okay, IF YOUR COMIC IS NOT UPDATING...

Goto http://members.keenspace.com/username

change your info so that there are no ! or #'s in it. Also make sure that you have a time selected for updates to occur.

Okay,

I made the change and my site updated. Though I'm not sure I follow the explanation of why the " symbol affected the autokeen update.

But, thank you for finding a solution.

Odds are I'm not being any help here, but my comic didn't update on Friday as well. This being the first time it's not done this, and after going reading this post I checked, and didn't find anything wrong with my user information.

I did find a rogue indextemplate.html, and dailytemplate.html in my public_html directory however.

Since removing these however I can't get my indextemplate to update. Honestly it isn't a big deal, the change I wanted to make is very minor... I'm just throwing in what little I can in case it helps you.
I won't know until tomorrow whether or not my comic has stopped updating all together.

I do know I hadn't changed anything at all before it stopped updating. Hadn't even logged into the account for at least two comics before that, and those updated just fine. (Stating this just so you know I'm sure it's not a mistake on my part.)

Good luck! And thanks for all of the hard work!!

Do NOT delete the symlinks (public_html/d/template.html is one, /public_html/workspace is another) , if they are toast, you have to get the admins to recreate them.

Kelen, you seem to have deleted the workspace symlink from public_html, I'm notified the admins.

And BTW, you should use the ***advertisement*** tag in both indextemplare.html and dailytemplate.html to automatically include the ad code, otherwise your account will get flagged for not having it.
