I've actually done that to my friends. Its a wonder they still talk to me. Anybody else 'help' someone along when they haven't had the guts to take that first step?

I've arranged for two people to 'accidentally' end up in the same place a couple of times. And once, I said to two friends "Go into the kitchen and don't come out until it's settled." while brandishing a nerf bat. No fights erupted, and one couple did start dating.
