I need a beautiful woman to be my muse, but since I don't have one.. usually music, other comics, artwork, comedy, and friends.

I hate a lot of TV. Well, I use TV as a Basis of my comic.

Real events. Only I'd never draw about real events, I just use them for a start button. And, It's usually not events that happened to me, my life is pretty mush boring, it's mainly my friends.
I don't think it is neccesary to say what mused me to start a comic, it's other online comics, and pretty much obvious which.

While drawing comics I tend to listen to either Barenaked Ladies, Weezer, or extremely depressing video game music, like FFX's Suteki Da Ne Instrumental.

While thinking shit up, I use my friends. They're quite droll at times. I also use personal experiences, like my comic right now involving myself and a linux server. Actually happened, folks.

My inspiration is mostly movies and video games. When these sources fail me I have a little trick that all great artists do but will never admit it:

I put on a rubberglove, take of my pants, and pull something out of my ass.

That technique is garuanteed to be fool proof (unless you have really big hands or something  ).

I suppose several things inspire me. I admit to being a rabid gamer, so character concepts and things that happen during game sessions often crop up in my comic. Despite this, it's not meant to be something just for gamers and I hope it can be taken as a story, rather than a spin off of RPGs.

I'll agree that music really helps...though for me, it's mostly during a dramatic bit of the storyline, rather than one liners.

The biggest influance is various myths (old and new renditions) and all the stereotypes of fantasy. I love to make jibes at that.

Ohkay, after lots of thinking and vasts amount of alchol I think I know what inspires me...

Games... And lots of them. Ohkay, mainly Half-Life, I just so love the style! And the feel! And the aliens! And the guns! ooOOooOooo yes, the guns *drool* and what inspires my overly active gun imagination is Airsoft and WW2 re-enacting... I'm a Waffen SS storm trooper on the weekends and a wannabe soldier via airsoft in the weekdays... http://www.lagthemodeller.com/PIC1.jpg It's me!... Well I'm in there somewhere...

And, ummm. Movies. I guess. Sometimes...

P.S. No I'm not the little kid at the front, pah... But I do look young in there... Man, that was taken 3 years ago... Wierd o.@

I forget where I get a lot of inspiration. I'll go to scan a bunch of comics and stare at them in bemusement. Who knows what I was thinking. People ask me questions about something I've done, and I have to go back and figure out what the @#%! they're asking me about.

Sometimes I draw in the early hours of the morning and only really see what I've done after I wake up four hours later. I also find mysterious notes and tiny pictures scrawled in the notebook I keep by my bed.

Important notes.

Notes like:

"Green"

Okay, a lot of them are more usefull than that, but still, sometimes I wonder.
