I couldn't tell you if it's allowed or not, but it works. Create a cgi-bin directory and put a simple script in there, make sure you've got execute access. Works for me.

I hate to break it to some of you, but you have to request cgi-bin , however there are accounts that were created before the KS server move that always had it on and never noticed.
