have any of you ever gotten strep (strept?) throat?? cos i just went to the doctor last nite, and i have it. they're giving me these big horse pill thingys i have to take every 12 hours.
reason i ask is cos i'm wondering how sick you get. i dunno, my hands are breaking out in little dots, and last nite i threw up....so i'm just wondering if thats normal for strep. i dunno.......i'm a hypochondriac....i think everything means i'm gonna die. yes. uuuuum. ok. i like today's comic. bye.

I had a sore throat for about a month, but I ignored it. Eventually it turned in to a full-body-strep infection was full of arthitis type symptoms for 6 months, Wheee! COuld not walk, joints ached in the cold, it was like being old when you are still in high school.

Agh!! I've had strep throat before. It's terrible. My sister got it once, too, and it turned into scarlet fever. Hope ya get better soon! ^_^

Yes, actually, in the past month or so I've had it. Gloria gave it to me *glares playfully at Gloria* and then I let it go for close to a month before it moved into my sinuses and gave me a nasal infection while I was in Vegas. So I went to the doctor and got the antibiodics and now I'm better. Make sure you take ALL your pills, even after you feel better or else it could come back and SO much worse.

Well, yes. Devon caught it from me, but when I had it, it only lasted for a couple of weeks. My advice is to use chloraseptic spray, take lots of vitamins, pain killers, etc., and take it easy for awhile. That's what helped me, I guess. Oh, and drink plenty of water. That's what my mom always says, and she's right.
(Except that I never do, so I'm consantly dehydrated, and that's probably why I don't have very much energy, anymore.)

Ech. I hope you're feeling better...
