What are the posibilities of signing our sites on search engines? I tried on Yahoo with mcDuffies and found a few sites of real people called mcDuffies... funny
Is it allowed to sign on a search engine?
According to the webalizer log, I am getting a few searches for "Monkey Law," but more for "Brad Hawkins," which in addition to being my name is the name of a TV actor ("VR Troopers") and country-western singer. Wonder what his fans think of my comic?
But your comic is even newer than mine... The last time they updated with google was a month ago. They might update again soon with all the new comics coming in. I'm crossing my fingers! Only my index page is listed...
I got it.
When I input "mcDuffies" on google he doesn't return my comic. That's probably because I actually don't have a comic name on my main page (and probably on any other - I'm not sure), instead of it, I have a graphic logo.
But when someone entered "better english gramatic", google returned one of my pages in which I was apologuising for my bad grammar.
(On log-pages for each month you can find searches that had your comic for a result)
Hmmm, yep, my comic's name does appear on the search engines. Say... any of you guys get some annoying e-mail from someone who print screens yer site and talks about paying so that your comic can appear in every search engine?
I fall into an unfortunate category of having a webcomic whose actual name is a secret to all but a few, so I'll have to subsist off of people looking for porn or something...
