This April First, we're carrying on a hallowed tradition in the world of webcomics -- the April Fool's swap! We're gathering together as many Keenspacers as we can and trading comics for that one day!
Want to participate? Send an e-mail to monkeyangst@mac.com with the subject "April Fool", listing your comic's name, url, and your e-mail. Do this by the 20th of March. On the 21st, I'll draw names out of a hat and pair them up. (I'll probably make some kind of stupid ceremony out of it on IRC or something
) This is a great way to get exposure, and also to see how other people interpret your characters!
A few common-sense rules:
1) All guest strips will not be in continuity. Duh.
2) Try to know the other strip's audience. If you're switching with a KleenSpace member, no tentacle rape.
3) When putting someone's strip up as a guest strip, remember to add a text note (20020401A.txt, for instance) LINKING to their comic. This is all about cross-promotion, after all.
4) Be funny. Or profound. Or just stupid, whatever.
