I mean... today's strip has some... thing... which is in the background behind Jake. Anybody have a clue as to what that is?

At first glance I thought it was trash until I looked at it again and thought 'car'. But that doesn't look like a car. Beanbag couch with throw-pillows, maybe? Disemboweled jellyfish?

A little help here, please.

Dammit. It IS supposed to be a car.

It's a <i>futury</i> car. Oh well. I'll try to keep the WTFishness down to a minimum.

I thought it was a futury car! After all, it had the same overall shape as what Rick & Jake climbed out of in the first panel, and that oblong thing with spokes couldn't possibly be a wheel (elliptical wheel?! art thou nutseth?) so it has to be a hover-fan shown in perspective or something. Besides, the seats look smooth and futuristic.
