But, by defenition, a viewer of my strip must NOT be morally repressed. Self conscious, maybe. Self conscious people could relate to Jake pretty well. Especially when he gets all cute and panicky. (MUCH more of that to come.)
And thanks, Andrick, for posting about today's comic, even if it was to give me a swift kick in the rear for not explaining the fact that Rick owns a 2018 Jaguar with all-leather interior, air, uCD player and XM digital radio.

Awww... Poor Allan. ::pats Allan on back::
Here have a cookie. ::Hands Allan a Double-Stuff Oreo::
Two things,
UH is probably my favorite comic. I really love the characters. As far as the strip is ever concerned, well...

Secondly, I love this forum because it is not filled with angsty people projecting their shortcomings and foibles on to the strip's characters and somehow living vicariously through what happens with a "cast member" in any given strip.
In short, Allan, you have a great strip, the readers who post here are allot of fun, and all-in-all the whole thing is just a good time. So...
::raises a glass::
To Umlaut House and the forum, many more great strips, and may all the posts be more fun than a room full of Volair clones!

R-room full of Volair clones??
=0.0=
On the same note, has anyone here ever thought about what -could- have happened in the end of "Austin Powers 2: The Spy Who Shagged Me" when there are two time-shifted versions of Austin Powers?
The mind boggles.
And the reason I don't post every time a new comic comes up, is most of the time due to TMH. Too Much Homework. (But, somehow, that doesn't keep me from posting at times like now, when I had just been working on a term paper...)
And I'm kind of wondering what Jake's family's reactions will be to this, since they don't know yet.
Could be anything from "Of course, we'll support you no matter where you find love, son." to "My son is gay?! Get outta the house!" to "Oh, you found someone! Come on in, we'll have a good old-fashioned family orgy! Did you bring a videotape?" to "Wah...guh...muh...suh...d-d-d-d-droooo...*clonk*"
Of course, the fourth scenario might simply be YOUR reaction to the third. Eh, heh heh...

You're thinking about the TCM/SJ crossover and how there's no way in hell Kurt is gonna kiss Dover, aren't you? Naughty hampster. On 2002-03-08 18:08, hampster wrote:

It's not that I'm apathetic, it's that I'm ..... um .... OK, it's that I'm apathetic.

Yeesh, now I just had to search for the forum/thread where that was said.
And I have to admit, I did so not have that idea yet, though the arguments sort of make sense (don't sound likely to me, but make sense).
Guess I'm not corrupted enough.
