I'm having trouble with my archives (Why did I reiterate that?). On all of my archive pages, the comics appear as having a height and width of Zero.

I've run several updates (regular and full). ReFTPed many times. Rewritten the code several times.

My Index page works, so tonight, in desparation I copied my indextemplate as dailytemplate and FTPed it. So, using the exact same page, one works & one doesn't.

Rather than waste anyone's time, I spent extensive time reading on it and found relatively nothing like this. But from what I can tell, deleting it was a huge mistake.

Way back when, I deleted it, then uploaded the new one when I did it. I don't delete it anymore because that seems to have caused it.

Any ideas, solutions, or anything? Thanks in advance.

Try forcing a full update, and tell me here what happens. (So far, I can't see anything that's wrong. But then I don't trust Gav's code)

Odd; Normally this problem only occurs when people upload files that have .gif, .jpg, or .png extentions but are actually something else like bitmap images or HTML files (yes, that has happened), but this doesn't seem to be the case.

What are you making your images with, and how are you uploading them?

Try uploading them in passive binary mode (if you don't know what that means, we'll show you once we know your FTP client) or, if that fails, removing the comics and replacing them with ones saved as GIFs or PNGs.

Ahh the good old days of WS_FTP. I suggest using one of the following to upload, as they are more user-friendly, easier on the eyes, and more powerful:

<A HREF="http://www.globalscape.com">CuteFTP</A>
<A HREF="http://www.bpftp.com">Bulletproof FTP</A>
<A HREF="http://www.flashfxp.com">FlashFXP</A>

Any will do. I use Bulletproof or FlashFXP.

Most people who go on the internet use IE. A little tidbit of obvious information for you.

Well they don't in Mozilla. I see that in the page source the height and width are set to 0, so it's obviously AutoKeen that's choking on them. But only in the dailytemplate, not in indextemplate. How about posting the section around and including the ***todays_comic*** tag from each? That may help us figure it out.

But, I've also tried it in plain center tags.

Well, it's not doin anything bad for me... I think we're at the point where it's got to be a bug in AutoKeen. Your indextemplate and dailytemplate are exactly the same.

Have you tried just saying f*ck it and making a dailytemplate page that has nothing on it but ***todays_comics***? That would be my course of action at this point. If the problem goes away, start building it back up again. If the problem doesn't go away, e-mail the wranglers.

Okay this is just a theory, but put the closing <body> and <html> tags in, your template looks like this:
---snip---

<HTML>

<BODY BACKGROUND="/images/metal.gif" BGCOLOR=#7F7F7F TEXT=#FFFFFF LINK=#85AEFF VLINK=#CC8CFA ALINK=#FFFFC7 onLoad="timerONE=window.setTimeout('scroll(100)',500);">

<CENTER> ***advertisement*** </CENTER>

<CENTER> ***todays_comics*** </CENTER>

<CENTER> ***calendar*** </CENTER>

<A HREF="mailto:Sailor_Forsaken@hotmail.com" >Mail Halo</A>
<CENTER></CENTER>

---snip---

Add
</BODY>
</HTML>

to the end of it, then do a full update (regenerate all pages)
