It should say "Obscure" not "Oubscre"

Nah. Maybe there was a typo along the way, and maybe a misunderstanding or two between the authors of various mystic tomes, but the accepted name of the ritual is "The Rite of Oubscre".
I suspect that there's a R'lyehan law against easy-to-pronounce names.
