So did I, but the one showing now, I'd have asked her out in High-School... Of course, she'd have said "NO", being as I had "not a nice reputation", and was the most unpopular creature possible at the time... second thought, I was so busy working, I didn't really have time for a social life. Thus, (ever more pathetic) I'd probably have wanted to ask her out, working full-time didn't leave me much as far as time to consider such things...------------------

That would be correct, Sarah. Though the other one would work too... I expect, though, that his reply to the statement might also be construed to indicate that he has a non-standard definition of the word "girlfriend", or, that he has a slightly different orientation from the norm.
Of course, he could just be "Really Gullible", instead, and just covering it up by pretending to be "slightly bent".
Not my problem, though...------------------
