Thanks, Eppy! I've been thinking about looking for a colorist for the Sunday comics, actually. We'll see.

I'm loving the comic Nick, and the art is great, but I was just wondering... Are you going to color them? Maybe on Sundays or something like that? I just think it would make it easier to see.

Some things are just better in b&w.
For example, as Gus Van Sant (aka dumbass) was nice enough to point out, the movie Psycho is much better without color. The b&w adds to the mood, much like it does in BoD.
And anyone who has seen the mutilated (colorized) versions of movies like Casablanca knows what I'm talking about too.

(Hey, where's 'al'? Did I register 'al' on the forum? It says it's already taken. Did I take it? Curse my brain parasites!)
I kind of like the Black and White look. Sometimes, if you can't color it well, don't bother coloring it at all. Wait... that didn't come out quite right.
My point being, look at a comic like "The Tick". It really looks better, IMHO, in black and white than is does in color.
Exibit B. Since Black of Destiny is a more serious comic, I think it would be better to maintain consistancy thoughout the week. And it's not even updated on Sundays :P.
Point being, wait... I always used that phrase. Let me pick another one.
You can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar. Wait... that one doesn't apply to the situaion.
Ok let n be a witty phrase that pertains to the current context.
n, I think I might be inclined to keep (that is, if I were in charge) BoD black and white though and though, or at least whip up a demo strip that's not going to be used in the real comic, and put a community vote to it. Maybe compare the color version and black and white version side by side.
Now, I'm get off my soapbox before I'm washing tomato stains out of my Sunday suit. Why the hell am I wearing my Sunday suit on... what day is it? ([al@localhost iptest]$ date) Ah. Thursday. Very good. My plan will soon be set in motion, and all of humanity will perish!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh, I agree that some things should be left in B&W. I'm strongly against the colorizations of B&W movies, but I felt that it would be easier to see the comic if it were in color. I often have a hard time telling the characters apart, because all I see is a mass of gray for both of them. Maybe that's just my problem. I'll keep reading the comic whether it gets colorized or not, it was just a suggestion.
Love ya Nick! ^_^

I agree on the liking the Black and White. I'm not sure how it would look in color. The black and white is striking.
Always

Kiggy! This is my place! I've been familiar with Nick's other comic for about 6 months now. It was only natural that I read his new one too. Check it out if you haven't already, it's really funny.
Speaking of which, when are you going to update your comic, eh?
[This message has been edited by Eponine (edited 07-15-2001).]
