Ren here,
Ok I know it says that it takes about 4-6weeks for me to get my space, but that is from the last update right? Or do I have to wait that long, period?? If it's from the last update when was the last time people got added? I'm not that impatient, but I hope I get my space soon. Kinda want to get it started already.

It's not so bad realy, when I signed up I didn't even really have an idea what the hell I was doind !
Now that I have some time I finaly got a good idea. I barely have one character even drawn! So I figure when I do get me space, I'll build the site up real fast, cause I'm good at that. If it takes another week I should have more characters drawn, if it takes 3 weeks I should have a strip or two done.

Seriously! I signed up to do a comic just last week, and I don't want to wait this long! Sure, it will give me time to build up a ton of comics, so I guess I won't complain.
BUT, I was really wondering, what if I want to set up another comic? Will I have to wait another 4 to 6 weeks!? I have 5 comic series I want to make!
------------------

the reality: Keenspace can take up to 3-4weeks before letting you in.
the cons: you have to wait.
the pros:
*it's free
*it's got TONS of wicked features
*it's got a great cartoonist community
*it's free
*it gives you time to REALLY prepare a decent, solid comic that won't peter out after six strips because you didn't prepare or realize how much actual WORK a comic is
*it's free
...
that should give you the idea right now...
if you're REALLY impatient, and are ALREADY ready to start your comic, then just grab a goecities or nbci site while you wait (that's what i did)
but really, if i had ONE piece of advice, it would be this: if you're serious about drawing a webcomic, then i suggest you get a month's worth of strips drawn and ready before worrying about having an account.
There are TOO MANY accounts that are dead, or die off after a week or so, because people don't realize what they were getting into.
With that said, I look forward to seeing what you're going to be bring the webworld.
------------------

Good points, good points. I shouldn't even complain really it's been a week already and I've drawn one character 3 times, and another character 1 time. Not sure what the story is... it goes on.
I think I'll see if I can do what you said about drawing a month worth of comics (or 3 weeks at least). See if I can stay a month ahead, that would be cool. Of coarse I got to come up with some kinda of format I guess. My comic is gonna be an epic comic, you know one story that continues for a long time, I can't draw to well, so I'm hoping to be able to tell a good story, I'm sure you guys will let me know if I do or not... when I get everything up on the web.

------------------

I got my site in a little over a week but I didn't get much done on my comic in that time. I think I'm starting to get in a schedule and I'm trying to keep ahead so I don't get stuck or bogged down. I hope my story can last for a fairly long time.
------------------
