Why not model Keenspace after....???

Why not model the Keenspace homepage after the Keenspot one? I mean have a cool opening page that would have the list of strips as well as the newsbox and soe dropdowns or something like that? Maybe even a monthly or weekly spotlight like they have, only not random and not everyday.-- I think this is a good idea, that wouldn't take much work.------------------

That's sort of what I want <a href="http://gear.keenspace.com">The Gear</a> to be like, except that I think a random (scaled back?) spotlight would be cool, and there's just too many 'Space strips to have an actual list on the front page.------------------

There are alot of strips listed on Space that aren't active or have nothing there. I think the list needs to be edited and cleaned...then you'd be back down to a medium sized list. Maybe a list of dailies and a list of weeklys?-- I don't know, I'm just tossing ideas out there.------------------

What would be cool for KeenSpace if Nate could do it would be to list the comics that have updated with something new each day. That would be a "killer" list for readers to check out and would filter out any dead sites without imposing manual work on the Keeners.If someone besides Nate wants to do it and the Keen isn't interested in hosting the strip let me know and I'll post it at the Comix/pedia.------------------

Good idea, Gravity! I agree! If we had a main page which looked good, had some content, some news, like who got bumped up to the spot, and some links to tip pages from people on here who have made sites like that, as well as random featured 2 comics of the day or something, that would be cool! Of course, I have no technical skill whatsoever to pull this off, but if someone were so inclined, it would be cool!
As for the list, in thread I started with the list with logos, lots of good ideas were presented. If they could be incorporated onto the main page, all the better? ------------------

It's what I'm trying to do. I can't see it replacing the KeenSpace page, but I should be able to get a nice phat link on it, and maybe a domain upgrade to offical.keenspace.com ------------------

Your page looks like it will be good, once you finsih it. I know I will go to it, if alone for the resources. However, I think there is a need for a keenspace "cover page" of sorts.Somtehing that people who aren't familiar with the site will be tempted to look around and all. If you can get your page to be that page, then that would be cool. I don't know....just ideas here.------------------

Maybe the pages could be listed in order of last update. At the very least, the big list should be alphabetatized.
