Just thought I'd casually mention...

I finally have my comic going, and here's hoping I can keep it going. I'm only posting new strips two days a week, but once I get in the groove of things, I'm gonna be updating all the other sections in between the comics.<P>Let me know what you guys think of it, either here or on my message board

I like the art style, but you should consider coloring BEFORE you shrink. Otherwise it leads to those nasty anti-alias dots. If you ARE doing that, then maybe you're scanning in greyscale..and your strip should probably fare better viscerally if you scan it in 2 color/lineart mode.

Funny you should mention that, beacuse I do colour before I shrink. I figured out a way to get rid of that by using the 'stroke' command (putting an outline around the black lines) in Photoshop after I colour, and that works.<P>It's just sometimes I forget <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"><P>And thanks for your comments.

its under edit. Basically what stroke does is adds an outline to your current selection. In my case, I select the black outline, then I just use 'stroke' to outlined the selection, getting rid of white anti-alias line.<P>Also, it makes speach bubbles easy, as you make the bubble, and add the black outline easily. Play with it. It's a very usefull tool that I wish had a short-cut key.<P>Quattro<P>------------------
