A good song for the part when the Reworks swarm our heroes and all hell breaks loose is track number '6' From Star Trek First Contact. It's title is "Retreat." Trust me i fits
THAT and about anything from starship troopers lol

Okay, this isn't EXACTLY off topic, but it's kind of a tangent - I came up with this idea for a single scene for this comic, and I'm not willing to write a second fanfic just for it. So, here it is - A single minute-long clip of a scenario set in the rework universe.
___________
He was dead on his feet, his eyes wide with a stunned, shocked expression as he slowly slid down the wall, the blood staining his armor bright red, the arterial surge filling his boots. Shaking, he spent a few, scant seconds trying to stuff his shredded intestines back in, his eyes still locked on the twitching form of the rework lying next to him, the creatures brain sprayed across the wall. His ears shook, trembling and then slowly laying back over his head. He closed his eyes and sighed, blood dribbling from the corner of his mouth.
Ashley dropped to a kneel next to him, pulling out her first aid kit, and he laid a hand on her shoulder, his eyes almost but not quite blank as he looked in to her eyes.
"There's no point," he mumbled, blood caking his legs. "I'm already dead."
She nodded, slowly, choking back a sob and putting the medical pack away. She drew her pistol.
"No," he said. "Not yet. Don't kill me yet."
She hesitated. "You'll wind up like them. One of them."
He nodded. "I know."
She slowly stood up, reholstering her pistol with a puzzled, sad expression. "Then... why?"
He sighed, blood pooling beneath him. "All this time... We've been fighting. Fighting for our lives, and our loved ones. That's why we've been fighting. But... No one knows why they fight. They just kill... and kill... and kill..." He sighed, his voice weak and quavering now. "Soon... I'll know why they fight. It's all I've wanted to know, for so long..."
Ashley nodded.... Then shot him through the head, a brief, stuttering squawk of protest dying in his throat as he slumped to the side, twitching in his death throes.
"There are some things man wasn't meant to know, Adam."
She walked away.
------------------

Um, Dav? are you gonna put this on an official RTD site? I KNOW they are all there, and I want those stips like a fat bulimic kid with a box of sugar loaded a box of twinkies he cant touch till after supper!
Heh, O.K that is an exageration, but it sounds funnier that way. Seriously though, aproximately when will it be put on official site?
------------------

I read RTD1 and odly enough, was not disgsted or anything really. The only thing I noticed is that BC was, so where you/live and dead I do believe, and a still live green bunny who we all know and love (who oddly enough did not die from the nuke.)
But Dav, why did you die? not trully necesary eh?
I will DL the RTD2 when I go to bed, 56K modems and 40 megs of Downloading dont mix all that well.
------------------
