Hio. I'm the web guy for the new strip here Mac Hall. The thing is... our original site design doesn't quite fit with the basic design here... There's no comic on the main page. It works sort of like the penny-arcade page, with a main news page, and a link to the latest comic, archives, and various other places. This, of course, means that our site has two seperate buttons for which we'd need the ***last_day*** tag (one on the front page, and one on a basic comic page). It also means that for our site the ***last_day*** tag doesn't really work _at all_ since there is no comic on the main page. Is this going to require us to completely redesign our site?

you dont have to have today's comic on the first page, you can put it on any page that you include the ***todays_comic*** tag. It just happens that most people put their comic on the front page.<P>------------------

Yes that's the way I have it organized now. The thing is, the ***last_day*** tags from any comic pages that I have, for instance "20001107.html" (which is the first day), it will lead back to the index.html file, thinking that the latest comic will be there. Not true for my page.

The ***last_day*** tag can be customized to point at a different page, but it's something we have to do. <A HREF="http://mailto:nate@keenspace.com" TARGET=_blank>Email Nate</A> to request a change. Be sure to let him know the page ***last_day*** should point to and your account name.<P>------------------
