Well, it depends what kind of shoes:
in Chuck Taylors I wear an 8.5, mens (although I have worn a pair of size 10, once, and they actually fit fairly well).
In other kinds of shoes I wear a 9 or 9.5, in hiking boots and things like that I usually wear a 10.
So you see, it depends on the thickness of the shoe.

I have no idea how ppl can walk in high heels. It's absurd. Anyway, I usually where size 7 to 8 1/2 in womens. Um... what DOES this have to do with anything??
Where do you buy chuck taylors? I went to the mall and like none of the stores here have them... wah!! >:
------------------

Well, let's take a look at the high heel. The cause of the walking difficulty is caused by A: the severely pinched toes, and B: The off kilter center of balance. Now lets take a look at who designed these shoes. Men. The high heel is a continuation of the shape of the leg and is considered an attractive compliment to it's flowing lines. A goth boot, isn't.
Also (insert increasing sarcasm here) the way it makes one take small, mincing steps gives the man a feeling of superiority, boosting his ego, plus high heels makes it harder for his victim to run away.

This still doesn't answer the question of how you're supposed to walk in high heels. The answer simply is, you aren't.
