me needs help with my main page

Im not able to upate the dailytemplate and the indextemplate for some reason when I upload and update the page the new backgrounds and stuff dont show up or anything new I put on the page what be going on?------------------

If you're using images, where did you put those?The Keenspace tutorial is rather obtuse. I had problems with it, and...well, I'd like to consider myself in the more intelligent sector of the population. Don't worry -- if you're having problems, that's what this board is for. We're here to walk you through it. Most of us have seen similar problems with our own pages.I still remember that stressful night when I tried to get POCKET up and running. I must have updated 23 times.------------------

The image for the background is in workspace with the dailytemplate and the indextemplate.
I had this problem before when I changed my background for my main page but I dont remember how I eventually fixed it. but the background works on the other pages just not the dailytemplate and the indextemplate. BAA------------------

Images go in the /images folder in public_html. And all images need to be linked as /images/filename.ext (with filename being the obvious and .ext being the appropriate image format).
But aside from that...do you have any other problems with your site?------------------

oh I mean the dailytemplate and the indextemplate are unupdateable in everyway I cant change the text because it wont be update for some reason when I upload it but other pages will------------------

Hmm...I'm having a little trouble following. How exactly are they not updatable?
And you do know that you can manually update by going into members.keenspace.com/username?Forgive me if I'm speaking down to you, I'm just trying to get more info...------------------

Shouldn't you simply be updating with updates rather than fooling with the templates on a constant basis?------------------

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>I guess the only thing to do to help is to go through the checklist:-indextemplate.html and dailytemplate.html go in /workspace
-images go in workspace/images
-all other files go in workspace/webpages
-on your members.keenspace.com/username page make sure you selected regular update when you update. If that doesn't work try the FULL update.If all that doesn't work then I dunno what else.------------------

OK I can edit the pages on my computer but when I send them and manual update the indextemplate and the dailytemplate dont update------------------

Huh.
Indextemplate and dailytemplate are supposed to be used to update index.htm(l) and daily.htm(l). They're not supposed to "update".
You are putting them in /workspace, right?------------------
