<Snicker> Hybrid/Psycho Puss is a character who has been around since about sixth grade. I created him a lonnnnng time ago. I remember quite clearly drawing pictures of an off-kilter rabbit killing various people and animals in a comedic manner while sitting in my English class in sixth grade. I hated my English teacher, who was, to put it mildly, as obese as hell, and mean and nasty. I drew her (in pig likeness) being chopped to bits by Psycho Puss wielding a meat cleaver. Of course, sixth grade was an awful year for me and all the kids hated me and treated me horribly. I think I had maybe three friends the entire year. Being miserable actually helped me creative juices though, because I didn't have much better to do that draw, write, and read. :) (Oh, to help date this for you guys, I'm in my second year of college now. :) Oh, as for the name Psycho Puss... well, I'm not quite sure where THAT came from. I knew back then it was going to draw vagina jokes but I didn't really care. A month ago or so, though, I finally figured out a non-vaginal reason for having the name. I looked "puss" up in the dictionary, and lo and behold, it's a word hunters use for a hare. Hare, rabbit, close enough. ;)
------------------

Oh yeah, forgot to comment on Barbietron. :) Barbietron is far from dead. In fact, I've done two short Barbietron "movies" since the last strip. At one point I hoped to do Barbietron weekly, but it proved to be too much hassle to setup the digital camera, take pictures of my and my girlfriend's toys, and then edit the images on the computer and add dialog bubbles and such. I still want to do it, I just have little desire to do it on any sort of regular basis. :) If you do want to see more Barbietron (ie the movies) you could always go over to my pathetic drooling fanboy website http://www.masterforce.org and click on MF4Kidz, and then on the MF4Kidz index page click on movie 1 or movie 2. :) They're silent movies, though, including requisite crappy music. :) Oh, animated .gifs, though, with midis for music. A bit large so be forewarned if you don't have broadband. :)
------------------

Oh, a final bit of irony before I collapse into a fit of raging, unbridled sleep: Today my parents invited me and my girlfriend to eat dinner with them at Black Angus. I naturally thought of you, Zap. :) Oh, and for an established steakhouse, their prawns were pretty bad.
------------------

No, because I do the same dang-blasted thing. Why are all us artists so lazy and burstful? By the way, would anyone say that this thread has completely veered of course, spinning and spinning into a pit of not looking at and critiquing my art work? Not that I'm complaining, I mean everybody here has been really cool and supportive but....wait, what am I saying?!? This thread will live forever baby!!!! I'm the top of general discussion! Well Ginrai, if you put as much energy into your comic strip as you do your posts, I think it will be most impressive..... yes..... most impressive.
KOWTLT,

And touchy. Who you callin' lazy, ya yellow-bellied hornswaggler! :) Seriously though, I dunno. Some artistic thing I guess. Inspiration, perhaps? Ooo... that gives me an idea to start a new thread on...

I was gonna start my strip on the last day of 2000 or the first of 2001, but then I realized everyone was going to do that, so instead I'll just post it whenever the hell I damn well please. :) As far as excitement, I just got a Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad tape and watched it last night! Woo hoo! Low budget Saved By The Bell meets Japanese guys wearing boxes pretending to be robots beating up other Japanese guys wearing rubber suits pretending to be monsters! Kick ass! :> Yes, I know it's really supposed to be Gridman, but who cares? This is MORE cheesy! C'mon... Godzilla with bad dubbing is way more fun than without. :> Plus the US version has Tim Curry as the voice of the evil bad guy! :> And I'm proud to say that I was one of the few people in the US to see Godzilla 2000 at the theatre! :) Rar! :)
------------------

Hmmmm.....I'm listening. Maybe even a strip we could do on a post once a week rotation basis, y'know, like throwing each other a bone, week after week. Hmmm.....yes my little Ginrai, now if only Nate Stone could fix my site, we'd be in business.
KOWTLT,

Hey, Caleb! Good drawing. I like the way you did the cliffs. I enjoy your drawing style. You are the best artist ever. Way better than that DaVinci guy. So, do you like the complements? Hay, thanks for the Simpsons comic. I still need that Bart Simpson #2, Simpsons Comics #53, and comin' soon, Simpson Comics #54. All brought to you by Bongo Comics Group!(Sounds like a commerical, right?)
------------------

I don't know, something totally crazy though that's for sure. But first, maybe we should both concentrate on getting our own strips running and linked up. I'm planning on a Feb 5th start date myself.
But we must do something together, because when we're both rich and famous, we can call each other up and say: " Hey, remember when we did that thing, man those were the best days of our lives, weren't they. " Oh yes, but first, let's take over keenspace.
KOWTLT,
Caleb(Yeah, I missed Godzilla2000 at the theatre, 'cus where I live it only lasted for a few weeks. Then I got taunted by friends, who said it was the most awesome movie ever. That the Lord for Video.)
------------------
