last post date often wrong?

Anyone else notice that the last post date given for forums and threads is often later wrong? It often seems to be later than the real last post. What's up with that? Kind of annoying to click to look at a new post and then see there isn't one... Seems like a bug. Or maybe lots of people make a post and then delete their own post, and the last date field doesn't get recomputed...<P><P>------------------
