As far as anime related stuff goes on Keenspot, I'd wager to say that Sinfest reminds me more of BloomCounty then anything else. I even came across a few blatant rip offs in his archives. Personally, I think Sinfest deserves to be #1 over there, it's by far the best written and drawn strip on the Spot in my humble opinion. I dislike the anime boom thing that seems to be festering online, but I would disagree that Keenspot is littered with that. There's only one reaa anime strip I see there and it's EN--
------------------

Though I wouldn't put it so uh, strongly as Nate here put it, I do think that Keenspot is giving off the image that they're becoming geared toward anime-influenced stuff, and the other artists feel ignored. Although, I know that anime comics weren't put on just because they were anime, they were put on because they were good, and had good art. But on the other hand, I agree that if Chopping Block, Boxjam, and/or Sporkman aren't added next, I fear there's gonna be some bad stuff happening to innocent peoples' knees.
------------------

Let's face it, Keenspot is no greater system then what you have at Keenspace.

I'd have to disagree... Keenspot is greater, but not by much. I believe it's because Keenspot has a newsbox, banner ads, and a front-page discription for comics, while all us Keenspacers have to deal with being buried in a plain-text list of hundreds, hoping that someone will pick us judging strictly on the title. Though the Dropdown and Box for KSpace is useful(and thanks especially to putting the KSpace box on the Spot front page), it doesn't really bring the Spot and Space comics closer together. When I check my webstats, none of them are from a single comic on Keenspot. Except for the Keenspot front page, thanks again. That's what I really appreciate. I dunno, maybe I gotta whore myself out and make more fan art.
------------------

Exploitation Now is very anime/manga influenced. I personally think Poe is really good at it. (However, I'm not a big fan of EN...I think Poe uses "wow, the writing in this comic sucks!" and "it doesn't matter what we say because people just read this strip to oggle boobies!" as punchlines way too often).
Wendy is visibly manga-influenced, but it's mostly Josh Lesnick. They have big eyes and the coloring style is anime-ish, but it's really different in almost every other way. I like Wendy, it's completely insane. I don't read it for the breasts (although the breasts are nice). If I want to whack off, I'll pick up a copy of Playboy

Avalon is slightly influenced, I suppose. Not a lot.
I can't think of any others, unless you count the Class Menagerie. But that's a furry comic.
------------------
