Calling all dropdown admin type people...

I'm just posting this cos of the problems with the What the Keen dropdown to make sure no-one else does the same - because the javascript code for the dropdowns uses the apostrophe ' character to open and end a document.Write you need to put a backwards slash in front of any apostrophes in peoples comic names, for example Jackie's Fridge would have to be written like this - Jackie's Fridge for the name to show up correctly and to make sure no javascript errors occur

What directory do you ftp the script into?I'm putting it both directly into the workspace and the webpages directory 'cuz I'm not sure, but I guess that's pretty silly.------------------

I put mine in a custom dir. in /public_html where I put everything that doesn't belong anywhere else.I don't know If I'll ever use it, but thanks for the heads up Steve. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif">------------------

I went and made a page with all of the dropdowns currently out there at <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/maninblack3125/dropdowns.html" TARGET=_blank>http://www.geocities.com/maninblack3125 ... ns.html</A> I'd really appreciate it if the various dropdown admins could link it to their dropdown pages (but not the list itself.)
