Besides, considering that I'm not taking this comics business as anything more than a fun hobby right now (i.e., not trying to make a living out of it), I'm happy with my half-ass art... So your assessment is accurate~~ it's not the most professionally-rendered art you'll see, and that's cool! <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif">And I must confess that I truly do admire those like Poe of Exploitation Now and Gisele of CCS, who obviously invest the extra time to produce quality works of comic art, not to mention how truly impressed I am by people like CDC and Lee Herold, who manage (or in CDC's case, sadly, who managed) to produce high-quality comic art on a DAILY basis! I'd go with Exploitation Now, Get With the Program(how come noone mentions it?), and Merlin's Crew. If not Merlin's Crew, than Matt's gaming one..Revolt... but that's not up yet...but hey, Everything Jake started on the Spot..------------------

The problem with lists like this is that they're never complete. I'd read lots more web comics - like Chopping Block, which I liked the few times I saw it - if I had the time. But here's my list of what I'd consider:BoxJam's Doodle - 'nuff saidAlgernon's Dilemma - does it 365 days a year.Live on Forbez - I'm not really an anime fan, but this is quite good. Jeremy - if we could get him to do it more oftenTrue Artist's Tales - I'll bet he could do it daily.The JoBeth group - approaching it professionallyExploitation now - I don't read as much as I used to, but I can see how it appeals to people.Which brings up an interesting thought: Humor doesn't change, but personal taste does. An example: After changing diapers and helping to potty-train my twin daughters, poop jokes just don't appeal to me anymore. I've moved into a different demographic - jeez. So Exploitation Now, while I can still appreciate it in one way, is probably going to lose me as a reader. Like I said, I've got daughters now and it's starting to make me uncomfortable as a father. Ah, lost youth! Or do you say yout?

Everybody always talks about the next strips to go spotty, but what about the ones that won't make it? Or that don't ever want to? What about those strips, I ask you, WHAT ABOUT THEM?!?! Oops... sorry. I guess I got carried away.

Get With The Program is EXTREMELY good, but perhaps needs one more update a week to be a serious contender for Spotting. As did, till recently, Untitled Again (now three days a week! wheeeehooo!).Strips that would/should never make it to the Spot? Ummm, I can name quite a few, but then I'd upset people.Mab

Then again, Joe Average is still on the Spot. I'm not sure what's up with the artist, but I think he's having a rough time right now.There's an interesting question....
