Group 8
I haven't been quite on the ball for fear of pushing people, but it seems as though everyone is doing fine and most of use are doing series of strips. Brandon is doing one, Daniel is doing one, and I'm doing one. I'm honestly not sure what Lewiscode or Sandy are doing but I'm sure they're doing fine as I have heard no complaints.
------------------

We're heading into the beginnings of December, so it's time to finalize plans.
There is another post on how we may be working things, so take a look at it, see if you can figure out what the heck I'm saying, and chime in with your opinion.
For this post, we want to make sure who's participating. We've had a few people mention that they never heard from certain team members.
So any wranglers- please reply to this with:
-Your Team Name, if any (As in, G7 for Group 7)
-Any team members who have never responded and should be dropped from the project list
-Whether you're doing a continuing story or unconnected images
------------------

GSeven, I mean G3, I mean 7^3 -Ok so I don't know what I mean.
Anyway, we're all here. We'll be telling an epic story of spam, robots, angels, sporkmen, cardboard boxes and whatever that is *pokes that with a finger -eewww*.
I think there might be something about a party in it to.
------------------

All of Group 2 are involved in our party comic. I'm the wrangler. We're comin' along with a connected story!
It took me a couple reads to understand your scheme for updating the party2001 page, but it makes sense now. The point is that automatically the main page will get updated to show clickable links for all the groups which update that day. Those links go to separate pages hand-created by the group wranglers which actually show the comics. I agree that's the only way to use the automation to get this effect, unless we'd made separate comic sites for each group (party2001group1.keenspace.com etc.)

------------------

(I copied this from my own post under "The mechanics of Party 2001" just to make sure it is seen by the people who need it.)
I've tried to make things as clear as I could, but that doesn't mean that I've succeeded. Wranglers (and anyone else who's interested), take a gander at http://party2001.keenspace.com/wranglers/upload.html
Let me know if there are any areas that confuse you, or if there are any suggestions to make things go more smoothly.
Now is the time to voice your concerns! Theoretically, we're starting this up on the 1st of December (tomorrow? oh, man!) so if anything's going to be changed, it should be soon.
And in case I didn't make it clear, I don't think we'll be able to stick to any kind of a schedule, since groups are all doing different things. Post new comics at a rate appropriate for your group, but before New Year's would be nice.
Once I've heard from most groups, we'll probably e-mail the wranglers the password for updating, as well as a copy of the group home page. (Do you agree with this, Seven^3?)
Please post any replies to this under the "Mechanics of Party 2001" thread, just to keep everything in one place.
