Personal dropdowns?!

In my efforts to further streamline my site, I've copied Calliopes' idea of putting my links in the Story line dropdown. It works, but it could be a lot better. The main problem is that it won't let me link off site, and I can't do "mailto:"s'. The other problem I can work around; it always shows the bottom link, even tho' the top one would make more sense.
The best solution would be to have my own copy of the dropdown script, and put all my links in that...
Hey, is it possible to have the one script running two (or more)different dropdowns since you can only use one at a time? I'm thinking something along the lines of:
{SCRIPT LANGUAGE="Javascript" SRC="/data/dropdown.js?text=/data/whatever.txt"}{/SCRIPT}
(or however it'd work)
That way I'd also have my own copy of the sci-fi script, and could take some of the load off the main one.
The only problem would be co-ordination of updates.

I fixed the javascript code so that you can use as many dropdowns on one page without them interefering with each other - if you want the new code then please email me - stevet@microdoc.com
------------------
