You've just about caught up to the point where I'm reading, T. MAN! I'm -SO- glad I decided to re-read the trilogy before the movie came out. Who knew it'd be so useful?! So now I gotta wonder.. who's Kath apologizing to.. and for what? Does this mean that Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli (Kath, Rumi/Shanna, and Tim) are out searching for the two who've been lost? (Will and Jackie).<P>Hopefully, we'll know tomorrow. <P>Oh! And good show, Will. (I love that man more every time I see him. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif">)<P>-Wish

I dunno. As I recall, Boromir was given the chance to redeem himself dying to protect Merry and Pippin. I don't think Will gave Morebeer any such similar chance here. Ah well. Does this mean the Shanna figure or some other Fan could get involved just in time for Morebeer to have a pang of conscience, try to help, and then they get captured and see Urth, Inc. destroyed? (Any bets on what parodies the Ents?)

Thanks T for these additional puns! It's good to know that, despite having read LotR more times than is probably healthy, I'm still guessing even in this plotline.
I note Trevor seems to have women trouble too a la Entwives...
Hmm, so Kath becomes a hobbit? I also have to wonder who she's buying the Simar, oops, "Samarillon" for. Surely she's read it. And Shanna. Or am I biased in my assumption that knowledge of Tolkien is somewhat indespensable to being literary in fantasy?

I think it is, but I've got a friend who has been heavily into fantasy since before puberty who only just last year or so finally broke down and read <I>The Hobbit</I> and LotR. Me, I started on them (plus <I>The Prydain Chronicles</I> and the Oz books).<P>Maccabee<P>"Is the place where Isildur died 'the Ford of the Rings'?"<P>--Last coherent comment before the riot that destroyed Stereotypicon.
