I know the crossover is over, and I have to say, it was easily the best FANS! has ever been! But it occurs to me, our friendly Rikk-twin is named "Dave Jones," who just happens to share a last name with the nefarious Agent Jones ... hmmm. I don't recall ever meeting Dave's father, anywhere in the CRFH backlogs ...

Coincidence? Probably. But then again, how many people in the world have the most unusual last name "Jones"??? An interesting tangent for FANSfic? Definitely. ^_^

--GB

"Where you seek randomness, you will purple monkey dishwasher."

No, David Jones' REAL father changed his name to avoid confusion with the miniscule Monkee and went on to dance with muppets and marry a supermodel.
And now you know...

...the rest of the ridiculous story.
Maccabee
------------------

I doubt that Jones is really Agent Jones' last name. You might as well speculated that Dave used to sing in a fake Brit-pop band in the 1960s.
OTOH, I suspect that this will have a more lasting impact on both strips than most crossovers, and I expect - or at least hope - that there will be a certain continuous connection betqween the two series. If nothing else, letting Will and April hang, like is done with so many other 'crossover romances', would be out of place for both strips.
And I definitely think that this has opened up a rich vein for fanfic writers to mine
I already have two in mind that I wouldn't have thought of otherwise.
------------------
