All of a sudden, I've come to the realization that the only way a theory about where "Fans!" is going next can be truly bizarre is if somehow the Atlanta Scrabbler (Scrabbleman?) is involved. (The character seen in the Most Dangerous Game, being picked up by Miller and Sully after their meeting in the Pancake House.)
Is the Atlanta Scrabbler Guth's father?
Is the Atlanta Scrabbler Alisin's father?
Is the Atlanta Scrabbler anybody's father?
Can the Atlanta Scrabbler escape from FIB custody and wreak chaos for sequential art/literature worldwide? (--By breaking the barrier between newspaper comics and crossword puzzles.)
Perhaps we should cover this topic in depth. And width. And picas.

I must admit to being a bit baffled about the 'Atlanta Scrabbler.' Exactly where DID he come from? In the frame before he shows up, Sully says 'Eyes on the road!!' and then, he's just... there. In the car. Was he waiting in their backseat? Are there missing frames that show him leaping into the car through a window? It's just... weird. I realise that's probably the point, but that entire page ( http://faans.com/d/20000607.html ) doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Anyway... now I'm REALLY going to bed. Yes. Really. I swear.
-Wish

I believe he was shot (Sully asked Muller to take him outside of the car first). So much for his triumphant return. Maybe his little brother, The Junior Jumbler, can avenge him!!!
It'd sure be interesting to see a separate work concerning Muller and Sully's many adventures whilst in and out of the F.I.B.
I'm sure they have some interesting stories to tell.

Would this be a good time to mention that the girl under the tree ( http://faans.com/d/20000124.html ) is actually reading Clarke, not Bradbury? Thus, her name (if based on ancronym, would be GUTARC, or, following the example above, CRA.... which.. doesn't really sound like anything to me, besides the first part of the name for a really old computer.... (make of THAT what you will.)
-Wish
I'M the only girl reading Bradbury in these here parts, and don't you forget it!

Unitl now I hadn't even THOUGHT of Girl under tree and reading Bradbury! Her name literally would be GUTARB
which translates to Bar (short for barbara obviously) Tug! Hmmm....could Barbara be an FiB agent? A Lie agent? An alias for Alice N.? Hmmmm.... lots of possibilities.
My guess is that he is an android built and programmed by Guth. He programmed her to be a fan (and a more traditional gf than a more Tim-like fanboy would) so he could speak with her about fandom without over loading her delicate circuitry. He never takes her to the meetings because he doesn't want her damaged by all the "activities". He's often not with the crew because he's busy educating her about humanity (and vice versa due to her special pretzel logic protocols)
as well as upgrading/repairing her.
He also has a JOB, now THERE'S a wild theory.

Blondlot, these forums have these neat little "edit" function which you can use to make it look like you NEVER make mistakes! It's the one that looks like a pencil. I just used it on the Cool Cat Studio board.

Don't let 'er get to ya, Tom- she's just jealous that she can't peer through the lines and see that tree reading girls' reading Bradbury with a Clarke slipcover over it. Like I said, DEVIOUS.
Poor diluted soul. I guess grammar books don't hold all of the answers to the mysteries of life. Especially when you never finish reading them.
Hey, that's what they made graduate work for, eh?
Ex animo,

Not to rain on people's parades here (okay, to rain, storm, drang, hail, and ooblek on them), but cute blonde reading Clarke showed up at katherine's party back in TMDG. Tim hit on her -- ineffectively, of course. Rikk was going to hit on her, but after her encounter with Tim she probably became a lesbian.
{sits back with evil grin and watches fanboy (not TtFB specifically) heads start to spark and smoke at the image -- Norman, coordinate! Ahem. It can mean, as an adjective, Thin; reduced in strength.

BIZAM! take it like it's meant!!!
By the by, I don't think that was the Clarke girl. Even if it was, she was only there to gather information to feed to her evil shock troops. durh.
Ex animo,

I made no distinction betwixt online dictionaries and tree corpse-based ones in my preceding statement. As long as you have a standard source for both word and meaning, is all that matters.

And here I was thinking you really meant to say "deluded" (as in confused, misled, cheated, and so forth).
My advice to everybody, if you haven't done so already--get thee a dictionary and keep it by thy computer at all times hence.

I went running to the arcives too, but that was the Clarke girl - the one Tim was asking if she was "legal". You can probably take most of what Maccabee says about Fans as gospel, for obvious reasons.
Frustrated Pilot:
Why keep something so quaint as a paper-and-ink dictionary on hand when there's http://www.merriam-webster.com/ ?

Ahem. Once more. While I happen to not be religious, I am from a western land, so it is part of my essence, due to upbringing. And if you aren't bright enough to figure out how a thinned or weakened soul would hinder perceiving truth in light of lies then I ain't the agnostic to explain it to you. Sorry.
Deluded is correct in normal circumstance. This wasn't normal circumstance. I was just goofing on someone else, damn your dilute souls... but I digress.
Oh, and I believe Wish is a girl.
Ex animo,
