When you apologize for things beforehand, you are immediately setting up in the reader's mind that what they're about to read is no good, regardless of whether it actually is or not, and they will take your comic with this slanted view, and are less likely to judge for themselves whether they like it or not.<P>I think it would be much better for you to simply put up your comic as is, and then let the rest of us spend the following week making comics about how really terrible your comic was.<P>Not that I was planning on doing that or anything.<P>------------------

While I did think my last comic sucked, I just get amused my drawing myself apologizing for stuff, i just makes bad jokes funnier to me for some reason. That and I do have to admit, while I thought it was a lame joke, I really like the panel set up I did on that strip, and the art looked nice, too.<P>------------------
