images help

I'm not sure if this will help but I had to put my images in a "images" directory and link to it [a href="/images/pic.jpg]------------------

I need help putting images on my site i did that scr:/img thing however its done but my pictures still dont show up, and I know my pictures or in the right directory but I suck at html and I dont know what to do
goto <A HREF="http://woodsville.keenspace.com" TARGET=_blank>http://woodsville.keenspace.com</A> and goto the characters page, there is suppose to be pics of them but they dont show up I need help

Your source code for each image has to be:<IMG SRC="/images/------------.gif">

Ack, forgot tags are activated on the bboard... your source code has to be (replacing the brackets)[IMG SRC="/images/nameoffile.gif"]

and capitalization counts.First_Day.gif doesn't work, it needs to be
first_day.gif.previous_day.GIF doesn't work, it needs to be
previous_day.gif.and other graphics are case-sensitive, too.
Whatever you type in the html needs to match
the file name EXACTLY.
