hehe, Well I was thinking that Nip's brave deed to protect her from the dunkard Gus would mabie cause her to feel more fonder of him. You know, "the knight in shining armor" effect, Mabie she'll think of Nip like Thelma thinks of Tuck. But then again, who knows ^ ~. ------------------

Depending on the sort of affection you mean, she already has, she might, or I don't think this is that kind of comic...! <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/wink.gif">I hope he didn't dent that cast-iron skillet though. A real cookin' skillet (as opposed to those imports from China with the sand-casting marks still in the bottom) is hard to replace.

Beebee's the fem Bunny right? I think that was who I was referring to, Not qite sure tho. And personally I think Sasha would be a bit rough... I know I wouldn't cross her!! My life would depend on that, lol.------------------

I mean if you follow the logic you suggest fully and absolutely (which I am not at all sure you meant to imply) then all of the girls (except maybe the cat with the crowbar) should steer clear of Nip since he went and did what the cat in question was preparing to do. Now if you wish to get technical I think that since a crowbar is narrower it would tend to concentrate the force more and thus qualify as a more lethal measure(and that is without using the claw end, sorry but I am a knee jerk Mechanical Engineer), but I doubt anyone wishes to be that technical especially since this is cartoon physics we are talking about here. I short I don't think that the lady in question qualifies as a danger to potential suitors, quite the opposite. We have here a personage unafraid to stand up for her friends. Not that doesn't have its own negative implications... the lawsuits for a traumatic brain injury are not small change and a tendancy to jump the gun(if present) can deny the friend of the brave one the chance to have some input into how the situation should be resolved. But it is moot since I suspect Nip will end up with the lady (rabbit) that Gus was harrassing directly.BTW I should think that asking to borrow the keys to someones car and/or having someone (probably Tuck and Thelma, who would probably like to duck out of the lime light again now) haul four tires from the repare shop should present little to no problem... although they might not keep that big an inventory on hand... A country auto-parts store? They'll probably have a bigger inventory of tires than anything else... particularly of the size that Pop puts on his own vehicles! I wouldn't worry about 'em not having tires. I'd worry more about 'em not being able to get into the store - and I'd bet at least one (probably all three) of the girls has the keys. The big question is going to be if anyone actually thinks of it...

I suspect that a romance with Sasha (who is a squirrel, BTW, not a cat) is a little unlikely... don't forget, she is several years older than he is, for one thing, and even three or four years can make a huge difference at that age - especially since they're on opposite sides of 18. (Nip's 17, and I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess Sasha to be about 21 or 22.)Which raises another intriguing question: just how old are BeeBee and Gus? Either (a) BeeBee's been dating an older guy; (b) BeeBee's also "of age" and thus a bit old for Nip, or (c) Gus is about to get "Posession of alcohol by a minor" added to the list of charges. (Given his less-than-stellar behavior to date, I wouldn't be surprised to find that last one to be the case...)

All three girls tower over Nip by a good six inches at least. All three treated him like a little love-struck kid initially. And all three are employed at Pop's. This leads me to believe they are all in their majority though Sasha may still be the oldest.------------------

(For example, notice that in some panels Tuck and Thelma are the same height, but in other panels he appears to be a good six inches taller - and in a couple of panels she seems to be the taller of the two. Likewise, in some panels Janine is taller than Nip; in others she's the same height; and there's one strip in particular where all three girls are the same height in one panel and different heights two panels later.)
