Recently the question has arisen whether or not I should use the large size or small size for my comic. I set up a poll and so far the original (small) size is winning, but there's only a poll because people complained that the original was too small.
I'd like to set up an alternate archive for the people who prefer the larger files. Can I do this, and if so, how?

I was wondering about the alternate archive thing, too. I plan on eventually running a second comic with its own set of webpages and stuff, but in a folder on my current site. How can I do this, and retain the autoupdating for the second comic?
--jwh
------------------

You could always make a link to an alternate-version of the page with the bigger picture but you'd have to generate the alternate-page yourself.
------------------

Yeah.. I was wondering that myself.. you see.. I have a website and we do comics based on the website. The comicstrips are collected in something I called the "Snowflake". Now the Snowflake will become Snowflake Studios and will be moving to Keenspace soon.. but since we're a "studio".. we've got several different strips inside with several different storylines.. some unrelated. Two appear to have trailed off... *sighs* But, I think I have an idea of what to do... run one of the strips per day.. mainly Fresh from the Ice Box Monday, Friday. AT Freak Show Wednesday and any day it is need. B&W's World when I get it done.. *grins* and the rest of the older strips up.. and running and stuff.. my poor scanner is gonna hate me.. Anyways, it'll be interesting.. I was wondering if it is possible to "disable" the auto-updating for the site; because.. as much fun as CGI is.. I like to hide stuff page by page and since I have a free weekend.. it's all good. ^_^ Umm... I like playing with ALT Text. I'm used to doing my own archive deal as I put together for Snowflake Studio pal, Josh Nickerson. who draws Fresh from the Ice Box and "The Nolans" (On Keenspace). I kinda need to work on the stuff that's "frozen" content. Like "Mega Combat Slugs" or "The Dr. Smiley in Central Core City Adventures!" strips or rather.. in their case (Comic Book style things) Umm... yeah. ^_^
------------------

name your comic something like 20001109a.jpg, and 20001109b.jpg with diffrent letters for diffrent comics that show up on the same day, I think that works let me know if it did
