Must the automatic updated be used?

Yes, but the question was not a matter of wanting to use the system or not rather the procedure of how not to use it if, apparently, possible.

Yes, but why? Once you've got it sussed the only thing you'll have is upload new comics - everything else is taken care of.------------------

I suppose to get around the autokeen system all you've got to do is not have an indextemplate.html file, no dailytemplate.html file, I guess, really, you don't need anything in /workspace at all -- autokeen will find nothing to do. You can put stuff right in /public_html(unless it chokes on having no template files -- it doesn't, does it?)But like the others say, why would you want to? Autokeen is, like, the whole point of KeenSpace, isn't it? <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>Not true. You are still obligated to run Keenspace's advertisements. You have to put all your pages, including index.html, in the /workspace/webpages/ folder, with the ***advertisement*** tag at the top.
But I really do recommend that you use the automation, it'll make your life easier in the long run.------------------
