The characters in this case are those asterix's. You see, my comic is now showing up...but no other pictures are...and the script with 3 *'s on either side are showing up, not the picture. I find this a bit bizarre that the comic should somehow work, but nothing else.
To see if there's anything wrong with the script I put in, since it's quite visible, just go to fightandwords.keenspace.com
The pictures are of the same name and character case, so that's not the problem...
Thanks in advance.

there's no title image tag, you put in ordinary html like this:
.
As for your other tags not working when the comic is... *scratches head*
What are you making the page with, and how are you uploading it?
------------------

I'm using dreamweaver to make the webpage, and internet explorer to upload it. I guess I could check my character cases again but...

The reason the ***previous_comic*** family of tags aren't working is that they don't exist. The real tag is ***previous_day***. (Same for the others, of course. )
------------------

You must follow the Tagatorial religiously. Also, I suggest you check out http://gear.keenspace.com and read all the FAQs and everything. Not just what you need but everything, so you be knowledgable as to how everything works.
------------------

Okay, I don't know if it will help with your problem, but here's some good advice:

DON'T USE INTERNET EXPLORER TO FTP! Same for Netscape.

They SUCK. There are plenty of excellent, free programs out there made with the purpose of FTP. I, personally, use LeechFTP and FTP-ing has never been easier.
------------------

I'm sorry if this sounds really stupid, but why not use IE for ftp? It seems to work when I try to use it...
[This message has been edited by StickManSam (edited 02-06-2002).]

I'd also like to know, what problems is IE supposed to cause? I've started using leech now, but I never ran into any trouble when using IE.

Yeah, I've heard that before, but what does it actually do that doesn't work?
------------------

It has an awful habit of corrupting file you're trying to transfer, either missing parts or adding in stuff that wasn't there before.
Using your browser for FTP is like trying to eat soup with a knife - it's doable, but you'll find it so much less hassle and less likely to cause you pain if you use a tool designed for the job.
------------------
