Or will that end up overriding all the cgi keenlite, and making your site die?

I think you don't have cgi by default, but you can get it turned on by pestering the keenites (help@keenspace.com).
------------------

CGI does seem to be turned on by default. I was able to set up my own Ikonboard, just to fool around with it.
(Of course, Ikonboard takes up about 20MB, so I didn't keep it around...)
Brad Hawkins http://monkeylaw.keenspace.com

I don't have the cgi-bin directory, so I've always assumed that CGI was off by default. Was I mistaken? CAn I just put a cgi-bin dir in there and get cracking?
------------------

I don't think you should without the Keenspace Admins aproval. What you have to remember Keenspace is a free service and the servers on not power houses... they host countless comics and things like CGI and PHP CHOW bandwidth... anyway what do you want to do with CGI... i can almost ganretee there are alternitives
------------------
