I cannot connect to my ftp site still, using whale.keenspace.com. it says my login info is wrong. i requested a new password, plugged it in, still nothing. is this still the cause of the server switching over?

The server has been up and down recently but assuming it's not that, read on.<P>Your DNS server should of updated by now, but to make sure (warning this is fnot guarenteed to work) use the crusty old MS-DOS prompt and type 'ping <B>yourcomic</B>.keenspace.com' It should display some numbers seperated by . the last part should be .151
Assuming you get the new server, try accessing ftp via <B>yourcomic</B>.keenspace.com, making sure you type the login and password correctly. If you still have a login problem, go ahead and e-mail the Keen folk at <A HREF="mailto:help@keenspace.com">help@keenspace.com</A> , just be warned that they're busy right now so you probaly won't an answer for a while (meaning I have no idea how long it will take)<P>------------------

See that's not the issue. Its pointing to the new server, and even connects, but says its a FAILED LOGIN, despite I have my username and CORRECT password put in. I even requested a new password, tried it, and it still will NOT work. Why can half of us access the FTP and the other half can't? I get 503 Failed login messages when I try to connect, despite using the right password and name, AND pointing it to (mycomic).keenspace.com.

Different site's seem to be in different states of disrepair at different times, and different FTP programs give different error messages for the same problem.<P>Which FTP client are you using?
And what's your user name? (It makes it easier for the wranglers to see what's up)<P>------------------
