RedWolf, just out of curiousity, what's wrong with using your Browser to FTP? "It hides the truth"? What does that mean?

<rant>
FTPing with a browser: You loose a bit of control when you upload. Are you uploading properly? Is it translating ASCII instead of leaving the file alone? Is it failing because the directory got swept under your feet? Or is it because your browser thinks it's dealing with one quirky FTP server when we're running some other, quirky in a different way, FTP server?
Out of all the FTP questions the Wranglers get, most of 'em have "I use IE to upload." We (well, I) read that as "I don't know what it's doing, and it's not telling me anything that could help anyone out. WHAHHH!!!!"
Ugh. Simply put, it's a headache for the Wranglers and the Admins as well as the person asking for help. I would love it if I get a message saying "I can't FTP my files because my workspace folder's missing! Can you restore it?" or "I can't FTP, it's saying '520 Permission Denied' whenever I change into the workspace folder...".
Pass the Tylenol. It's been a long day.
</rant> This has been an unoffical rant of STrRedWolf. This is not the offical position of KeenSpace. No animals were used in this rant. Question: Where are you trying to connect to?
If you're FTPing to crypt.keenspace.com; check it again - I just pinged it and got (64.71.165).151.
If you ping it and it's OK, check Cute for problems, but if your ping also says .196, contact your ISP.
------------------
