Hammerspace...

I just got an LD box set of the anime called City Hunter (well, this box is of the last series, "City Hunter 91"). I really enjoy this show! Guns, car chases, cute guys, sexy women. And Hammerspace. Major hammerspace.Even better, I have now seen Kaori, a true master of hammerspace, actually call a hammer from hammerspace and it appeared with an electric crackle in her hand. It was so cool!If you get a chance, watch some City Hunter.------------------

I almost died laughing when three schoolgirls came in and told him they wanted to start a fan club. I'll make a copy for you. You'll love it.It was so cool. Kaori's eyes turned solid red and her hair stood on end. Then electricity started to crackle from her hand and formed into a long bolt. Then she closed her hand upon the golden bolt and it changed into the handle of a 100 ton hammer. I've never see the hammer form in any other anime. I've seen them lifting the hammer, or the squashed victim after being hit, but never anyone pulling it out of hammerspace.------------------

hehehe...don't worry about sending me a copy just yet, wapiko -- i'm sure my anime club has it, and since i haven't seen all the sity hunters yet, it's no surprise i haven't seen the scene.But can you find out which episode or OAV it was from, so i can get it next week? <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif">

heehee!Yeah, Kaori is certainly one of the, if not THE Hammerspace Jedi of the anime world.While I can't say I remember seeing the specific scene you describe, i HAVE seen tons of City Hunter already, and it's ALWAYS hilarious and ALWAYS a wonderful spoof of 80's Magnum P.I.-type shows!It's DEFINITELY worth watching, for anyone else out there who's yet to hear of/see it! <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif">*goes out in search of some mokori*

I dont know some of the kanji in the name, but I'll try to take a look again tonight. I saw Umibouzu's real name in the title, though. So it'll probably be the one with "Ijyuin" in it.------------------
