Problem with Newsbox

I've been trying to get on the newsbox.
I was told that I need to change the tags in the xml thing because I have two links to my main site. I don't know how to explain it.
I copy and paste the stuff just as it is on the gear site but it won't work. It keeps telling me there is something wrong. the
< url site > and < url first > things don't work that way. It only works when I put < url > for both. But that's the same thing and that's not right. Well flip, I wish I knew how to explain this stuff.<P>----------

<i>Don't bother trying to open the xml in your browser</i>. It won't work there, but it's not supposed to. Change it back &lturl site> and &lturl first> and upload to your /keen directory.<P>------------------
