4-8 weeks? It's been three months...

...Since I first tried to register my comic. It was sometime early October, I think. Either way, even after registering a second time in November (in cast my first request got lost somehow), I still haven't gotten a confermation E-Mail, my comic doesn't appear on the Dated or Comics List, and the username (which should also be the subdomain) doesn't work.I know that Keenspace is going through a server upgrade, and that might well be the problem, but I simply want to hear it straight from the text of a human and/or humanoid: When/Shall I recieve my comic space? Even if the answer is "Never, we hate you, go away!", I'll be satisfied with it...... Even though I do hope the problem is just "until the upgrade is done, no new comics!"

The 'buffer time' does come in handyfor me, too - about 2 weeks worth of comics done, and that's only me working on the weekends. If I really appply myself to it (which would prolly happen once I get the space for it), I might be able to turn the thing into a bi-, tri-, or if I can squeez in some work on the weekdays, a daily comic......But right now, I have no place to put them, and few people to read them... Which is why I want some space on Keenspace.Oh well. With any luck, me replying and/or bumping this might facilitate an expiedent answer.

I was about to post the exact same thing. I too signed up in about October (in fact, I think it was on my brithday, so that makes it October 20th). I'd love to know what the buggery is going on too. I've been drawing comics in the "buffer zone" too... but now I've now got about a years supply of comics with absolutely nowhere to put them!

Well, that satisfies me (not really, but as an answer it'll do). I'll just re-send my application come New Years, and e'ry month - 3 weeks afterwards...... You know, I never heard anything about the major problems ya'll're having with the server switch - where was it? The Yahoo! Admin newsgroup? Somewhere deep in the bowels of this board? ...Would've been nice to see a notice on the Keenspace main page saying "sorry, but until we finish switching servers to optimize our service, no new applications will be accepted"... But that's just me whining. So I'll shut up now.

It was indeed announced at one point on the Keenspace Admin yahoo group, of which everyone should be a member. The message I posted here, theough, was only mentioned offhand on the ecartoonists list.It would be nice if they'd update the keenspace main page (the "news" hasn't been changed since last June) but they have been telling everyone about the current problems.------------------

Yeah, I know that (I actually read the ending portion of the Signup sheet) - like I said, I get the digest from both. I just don't look at the archives because it didn't say to check on the last month or two's worth of problems - which might be a good idea to tell us n00bs, because otherwise we'll come in complaining about problems that the Admins. have either found a solution to / are working on...[This message has been edited by Elemental Knight (edited 12-20-2001).]
