Using my mad katakana skillz, I've transulated the names of the characters from Mr. Driller G(reat). I had to use Babelfish to do the descriptions though (:

It seems Susumu, Ataru, and Taizou are related in some way.. Puchi is thier dog, and Horingaa Z is thier robot.. n.n
