Yayness! Now I can do the "Double Dan" team I been dreaming about. It consists of Dan and 'Shadow Dan', aka Ryo in a pink gi and the rest of his body blackened out. Robbie made him when experementing with the color change mode.

Of course, I shouldn't be the one talking here. I get excited everytime Namco mentions something about Pac-Man. I am truly obsessed. Oh, you don't even know. I only bought RRV so I can unlock Pac-Man GP! Did you know I have a full size Pac-Man arcade machine? Oh, speaking of Pac-Man news, I almost had a heart attack when I read this. The following is a long opinion essay, so if you don't feel like reading my ramblings, turn back now!Now then, that's just CvsS Pro, and personally, I'd rather they just skipped to the true sequel. While Joe and Dan are good, so far CvsS2 is offering up in addition to them...Athena: Who really should have been in the first game, if you ask me. This projectile-based character has been with SNK in one form or another for abround a decade and a half, and it's just not CvsS without her if you ask me. And while Yamazaki's "Double Return" projectile reflect move is neat and all, it pales in comparison to Athenas. Guile and Ryu beware... <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin ... aohmaru: The other Samurai Showdown mascot. Until I see more of the roster, I wonder how he of the katana-wielding type will fit into an otherwise mostly weaponless roster (for now).Yun: I'm glad to see Capcom is taping into the SF3 cast. There's a lot of worthwhile characters in there, they just don't seem to mesh as well to me as the SF2 and SFA casts do.Kyosuke: And a Rival Schools/Project Justice character, as well. He's an interesting choice to reveal first to the mass public (I'd have gone with Batsu or Akira, personally). Still, another decent addition.Now, apparently there's supposed to be at least another 8 characters in the final cast list. I've heard rumors for Galford, but nothing confirmed. Here are eight currently "not even rumored, just guessed at" characters I found courtesy of Miaka from the Orochinagi forums: Leona: A no brainer, since she's the de facto leader of the Ikari Warriors team in KOF, and people have been clammoring for a representative from that squad for a while. Blue Mary: A very popular character, indeed, with enough versitality to help liven up gameplay just a little by throwing her in. Shingo: Though hardcore SNK fans will probably want to kill me for the comparison, he's to Kyo what Sean is to Ken. Since he's taken a turn in the main team in KOF '99, he might make it. Billy Kane: So M. Bison gets all his primary goons and allies: Sagat, Vega, Balrog and Cammy, while Rugal gets Vice. Who does Geese get? Nobody! (Unless you count Yamazaki, and given KOF plot, I don't) The staff-weilding punk rock fan would fill that void nicely, and would make a perfect foil for Balrog as well. Lilith: She's been rumored, along with Athena, since the sequel was first announced, so why stop now? Still, since Morrigan was matched up with Nakoruru, I personally would like to see Rimururu added before we see Lilith. Alex: Though it's been long accepted that Ken and Ryu will always be the golden childs of SF, Alex is widely regarded as the mascot of the "new generation." If Yun is in the game, there's a damn good chance we'll see this powerhouse as well. Ibuki: Similar analogy regarding Chun Li and Ibuki for the women of SF as the Shotos and Alex above. Ibuki is also a very good prospect if they're dipping into the SF3 cast. Sean: Okay, let me just say that apart from Sakura and Dan, I have very little love for the Shoto characters in the SF world. Granted, I haven't played much with Sean, but I'm not sure I want to see yet another variation of the basic Shoto theme enter this game. Still, like I said earleir, he'd make a good rival for Shingo, so I'd be fine with his inclusion in that light.Well, that's my $0.02. What about the rest of you?------------------

I second the Felicia idea provided they add Cham Cham as well. Come on you thought about team "Neko Neko Wai!" yourself and it's just to stupid not to do:P As for the givens: Athena, I hate her (not in the Ryu Shinku Hadoken hyper chain combo way), but I expected he to show up in the first one so I can deal with it. Haohmaru, He's basically Joe Higashi with a sword, perfect:P Yun, yeah whatever.
