i personally wouldnt have commented on the choice of fonts unless u used something like webdings?! the guy had a point however, comic sans is overused but its a COMIC right? either one is fine imho. or perhaps use comic sans for normal text but use the new font for bold text or when someone is yelling. .
------------------

Hmm... maybe just use Comic sans for narration, and the new one for the rest of the text?
Or use comic sans for some other purpose other than people talking?
I personally don't think it makes a difference. A joke is a joke, no matter what font it's in.

I didn't even realize it was different at first, but now that I take a good look at it, I like this new one better. It seems to fit the strip better than Comic sans. I like the idea to use Comic sans for the narration, though. As long as the font's readable, I don't see that it really matters that much.
------------------

Well, I might just expirament with it a bit. Use the new text for awhile, see how I feel about it, and if I don't like it, change it. I'll probably keep JIrish's narration in Comic Sans cause it seems fitting.
------------------

No stay with Comic Sans. It's is the one true Font forged to rule them all! Mwahahahaha *cough* I use it me self cause it's cheap, dirty, and most of all free. I prefer Serpentine, but ain't free (cept for downloads ), and doesn't work if it's over used. Hmmm... Charcoal is always nice. Oh try and get some Blambots fonts they're good.
------------------

Some people have suggested to me to use a differant font other than Comic Sans, so I've been experimenting with fonts lately. What did you guys think og the font used in today's comic. Do you like it, or do you think I should stick to Comics Sans?
------------------

Being a variable font GURU, I noticed it right off the bat. When I first started doing the weekend comics, I -knew- you used Comic Sans MS, Robbie (the rob-ster, the rob-meister, rob-a-roony...), but I just don't like it all that much, so I just couldn't do the same. Not that I liked your comic any less, of course n_n, but I went with Jenkins V2.0 (which you can find at fontalicious.com, along with tons of other purdy fonts) 'cause it had a casual attitude to it. In the yaoi-implications comic, I specifically used Comic Sans to show that JIrish interrupted the tale of mad mad man love waiting to happen, even if he normally narrates in my strip in Jenkins V2.0. (Alternate timeline JIrish? I smell a plotline...!) So, er, right -- my point! Keep the Comic Sans for JIrish-san, and keep that comic-bookesque font for the normal use. It's in all caps, besides, and we all know how prone Robbie is to not capitalizing something! :D It hides it, which is why I put the comic text in all caps. Everyone makes mistakes, there's just ways to get around the buggers. :D
